venice,bahhh,venice.
So we hit venice on the day trip.sunday so everything is closed but its cool because we dont really buy anything anyway, food, gelatto, its always the same. and what we did see of what was open, glass shops everywhere, clothing, scarfs, postcards and trinkets,i dont think we missed out on anything. so we wandered, pushing stupid tourists out of our way and trampling the children,so many tourist, ugh! weve seen all the churches, the canals, the charming little sidestreets, now what do we do?
find some shade, smoke the last of our hash, and go eat more pizza. oh and crepes.oh the crepes. chocolate and bananna for mike. chocolate, toasted nuts and grand marinier for me. decadent!
damn 6hours in this city and were already bored off our assess. time to have a few beers. there cheap,im bored, last day in italy, why the hell not.
we park it next to the bridge in front of our train station and wait it out.watching, picking on everyone who passes us,like usual, were good at that, and ruthless at times as well.but all in good fun.
we see our polish friend from the night before, get her scoop on where shes off to next, and head to catch our train.strange in such a big city to run into someone you know.
oh and i finally found a book to finish out the travels with. some collection of crazy ass edgar allen poe stories. im excited and alredy started it on the train back to robertos. were we meet up with him and adel. go for more dinner, pizza, and have a great night. trading music from our mp3s to his computer, talking, someone passes around some opium, hash, phew i will sleep well tonight.nothing ive had though compares to the sweet sweet taste and effect of good old mary jane. damn lets just legalize it already or im not even gung ho for that, lets decriminalize at least though.
off to budapest tommorow. thanks for the memories italy, ill be back to tear you up next year.

NOOOOOOOOOOO.
you guys have to stop in Vienna!
i think i almost choked on a tear thinking you'd miss out.
oh well, hopefully you'll have a better time than i did in budapest, stay away from the center...well away. thats my only words of advise. oh. and if you buy stuff make sure you pay the correct amount - they tend to overcharge there...a lot. the baths are nice sechyni (sp?) is nice for hot days, the outdoor section rocks but the gellert inside is rockin' cool. and try the fried camambert with cranberry jelly - its my fave!! (if you like cheese)
and no one speaks english at the baths...
i was disapointed in venice, but the picture I got of a gondola was worth it! ok. i took more than one. just cool, it preserves the fantasy i had of vencie in a nice little picture package.
